By doing this small task, I have practised using the software iMovie (editing/adjusting colours/ext) as well as putting a small piece of music together on garage band and importing it onto iMovie. I will be doing this exact same task on Final Cut Pro (using the same footage) also, so I have practised editing footage on both of these softwares and can then chose which I would like to use on our final product.
